Foundation Projects
The Walden West Foundation has been supporting Walden West’s environmental science and stewardship mission, operated by of the Santa Clara County Office of Education, since 1996. The journey continues to transform Walden West’s 35-acre campus from a collection of old and obsolete structures to a state of the art, comprehensive science learning center to benefit all children living in Santa Clara County.
Current Projects:
- Student Scholarships – fundraising to support students attending Outdoor Science School and summer programming
- Capital Improvements – fund for site improvements
- New Climbing Wall - Goal $45,000: To replace and modernize the current climbing wall at Walden West, which is 25 years old. Donate here!
- Bird Blind: To add two small bird blinds on site that will enhance campers ability to observe and learn about birds. More details coming soon!
